Via Ferrata And Climbing Progression
The Via Ferrata is just one of many ways we can experience climbing mountains. Our VF + Climbing package is for those looking to expand their horizons and pack the most into a day. We begin our day by climbing the Via Ferrata route of your choice. After climbing the Via Ferrata we will then spend the day climbing the multitude of rock climbing routes that also exist on these cliffs.
For new climbers, the Via Ferrata offers a perfect intro to climbing movement and the vertical world. For experienced climbers, the Via Ferrata is an enjoyable start to the day before we go maximize rock pitches in the afternoon. Deville rocks offers climbing difficulties from 5.4 through 5.12.
We have done multiple Via Ferratas in the past. This was a great addition. It was the highlight of our trip. Our guide, Jake was great. We look forward to joining them again next year when they open the newest via ferrata.

As we stated in the above review we were looking forward to returning. Two years later we did. We requested Jake as a guide again and KMAC delivered. This time we completed the newest via ferrata and some top rope rock climbing. This was our first time rock climbing outdoors. Jake was great helping us with techniques and just general information. We would recommend this to all that love the outdoors and want more that just a hike.
