Booking a private guide allows us to cater your climbing trip to your ability and goals. Allow our guides to help you customize a day of climbing in Estes Park. From beginner climbs with excellent views to challenging and steep test pieces, our local knowledge will help put you exactly where you need to be. We offer three time frames for the day to further customize your trip.

4 Hour Day: Our half day of climbing in Estes Park is designed for those on a time crunch or for those with young children. We will go to a cliff in town that has a shorter hike and access to easy climbs. You can expect to learn introductory outdoor climbing movement skills and basic safety skills like knots and belaying to stay safe while climbing.

6 Hour Day: Bumping up to our 6 hour climbing day is a recommendation we make to most of our guests. 6 hours allows us more flexibility to hike to larger cliffs with more climbs and greater views of the Estes Valley and Rocky Mountain National Park. For beginners or experienced climbers, the 6 hour day offers enough time to work on technical skills or dial in your outdoor rock movement skills.

8 Hour Day: A full 8 hours gives us the most options for climbing areas and direction to take your day. If you have specific technical skills you want to master, or you have a large group of people to move through climbs, this time frame will suit you well.

If you’re looking for specific skills training. Please specify in your booking notes.
