Dan Gambino is originally from Connecticut. He started rocking climbing with the New Milford Youth Agency at age 9. Connecticut was a bit small, so after receiving his Bachelor of Science in Environmental Education from Unity College in Maine in 1996, Dan went out West ending up in Colorado in 1998.
In the last three decades Dan has amassed and vast amount of climbing experience in all disciplines ( rock, ice, and snow) all over the western hemisphere – The United States (including Alaska), Canada, Chile, Mexico, Bolivia and Ecuador.
He and has worked as a climbing guide/instructor for the National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS) and for other guide services in and around Colorado. Aside from his KMAC duties including the “go to” photographer for Cliff Camping, Dan is a freelance photographer, production assistant, graphic designer and father of one very sweet daughter.
